Smoked Eggplants

How to Make Smoked Eggplant and Green Onions in Roasted Red Chili Sauce


2 medium eggplant 2tbsp coconut oil

3 whole red chilies

1/4 tsp five spices

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

salt to taste

4 tsp roasted red chili paste

3 tbsp water

1 cup green onions cut into 1- inch




1.  Smoke and roast the eggplant


2. Heat oil in skillet over medium low heat. Fry red chili until they darken. Add five spices and fry until

    it starts to crackle. Stir in turmeric and salt. Add red chili paste and the water and mix well.Add the

    eggplant and simmer, covered 10-15 blend the flavors. Add green onions and simmer

    for another 2 minutes.
