Murghai KormaHow to Cook Murghal Korma

( Lamb/Mutton curry  cooked in the royal murghal style)

1 lb Lamb/ Mutton

1/2 Cup Coconut oil

4 Cloves

5 Green cardamom

2  Small Cinnamon stick

1 Tbsp garlic paste

1 Tbsp ginger paste

2 Tbsp green shili paste

2 Tsp Green coriander leaf paste

1/2 Cup yoghurt, whisked

2 Tbsp Onions chopped,roasted and ground to a paste

1/2 Cup Almond paste

1/2 Tsp peppercorn powder

1/2 Tsp Safforn, dissolved in 3 tsp warm milk Salt to taste

 

Method:

1. Heat the oil in a sauce pan and add the cloves,cardamom and cinnamon let to

crackle and add the garlic,ginger, green chili and green coriander pastes. Fry

until light brown

 

2. Add the meet with the yoghurt and add salt then cook well on low heat, until

the oil leaves masala. Add enough water, so that very little  is left by the time

the met becomes tender.

 

3. Add the onions and almond pastes, peppercorn powder and the safforn. Stir

and heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve
