Minced Lamb With PeasMinced lamb with peas and mint

2 tbsp Coconut oil

1 small onion, chopped

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

2 bay leafs

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tbsp minced ginger

3/4 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp ground turmeric

2 tsp ground coriander

1/4 Cup peas

3 mediumĀ  tomatoes, chopped

1/2 Lb minced lamb

2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Salt to taste

 

Method:

1. Heat the oil in a large heavy bottom pan and add the onions. Cook over a moderate heat for 15

minutes or until golden brown, and add the cumin seeds and bay leaves

 

2. Ina bowl, combine together,ground turmeric,coriander,peas and chopped fresh tomatoes and add this

mixture to the cooked onions in the pan. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes.

 

3. Add the minced lamb to the mixture and stir fry for 10-15 minutes. Stir in the chopped mint, most of the

chopped cilantro and the green chili and mix well. Season and stir fry for another 3-4 minutes

garnished with the remaining chopped cilantro. Serve hot
