Kerala Red Fish Curry

How To Make Kerala redKerala Red Fish Curry fish  curry

1        lb fish

½       Tsp tamarin paste

3        Green chilli

2        Tsp garam masala

1        Inch fresh ginger

5        Garlic cloves

1        Tsp fennel seeds

5        Tbsp coconut oil

½       Tsp cumin seeds

½       Tsp mustard seeds

¼       Tsp fenugreek seeds

½       Cup chopped onion

10      Curry leaves or more

½       Tsp red chilli powder

1 ½    Tsp coriander powder

1        Tsp garam masala

Salt to taste


1.    Add little water to blender and put garlic.ginger and make a paste


2.    In a large saucepan heat the oil , add the cumin seeds and mustard seeds.once they pop add

fenugrek and cook 30 second.


3.    Add chopped onions cook it until golden brown.


4.    Add the ginger and garlic paste,salt all above spices  and cook for 3 minutes.


5.    Add 1 cup of water  then bring to the boil and stir well to combination well.


6.    Now add the fish and back to boil.reduce the heat and simmer for 5-6 minutes.
