½ kg steak

1 onion (thickly sliced)

Ginger/garlic

3 tbsp ghee

2 tsp Worcester sauce

3 green chillies (chopped)

Salt and pepper

 

Marinate steak in ginger/garlic, salt and pepper.  Brasie well in hot ghee on all sides.  Remove from pan.  In same ghee braise onions and green chillies.  Add the Worcester sauce and the braised steak.   Close lid tightly and let simmer till steak is tender, adding a little water if necessary.
