Raspberry and Yorgurt Smoothie

Serves for 1

Good for pregenant ladies

Fresh raspberries make a delicious smoothie, and complement the creaminess of the calcium rich yogurt.  If you don’t mine the seeds, don’t bother to strain, this will give you more fiber too.

4 oz (100g) fresh or frozen raspberries

3 tablespoons plain yogurt

1 teaspoon honey

2 teaspoons sugar

1/3 cup (100 ml) non-fat milk

Place the raspberries in a blender or food processor and blend until pureed.  Strain to remove the seeds, if you like.  Combine the raspberries and all the remaining ingredients in the blender or food processor and blend together until smooth.  Pour into a glass, and drink as soon as possible.  By: Fiona Wilcock
