1 cup fine mealie meal
½ cup flour
½ tsp salt
2 tsp oil
Sieve mealie meal with salt. Rub in oil. Add just sufficient boiling water to make mealie meal slightly soggy. Allow to cool slightly, then add flour and knead into soft rotla dough. Rool out like roti and smear with ghee. Fold as for roti and roll out again to a thinnish rotla.
Grill on tava like a roti smearing with ghee when nearly done or alternatively grill in oven and when rotla puffs out, turn and grill the second side.
