1 lb Chicken,without skin

1/2 Cup ghee

4 Cloves

3 Black cardamoms ,cracked

3 Medium onion sliced

1 Tbsp Chopped garlic

1 Tbsp Chopped ginger

5 green chili

3 Cups water

2 tsp Dried fenugreek leaves

1/2 Cup yoghurt

1 tsp Red chili powder

1/2 turmeric powder

Salt to taste

 

Method:

* Heat the ghee in a heavy -bottomed vessel. Add the cloves and black cardamoms and

fry until crackle. Add the onion,stir for a minute; add the garlic, ginger and the green

chili and fry for 30 seconds

 

* Add one cup of water and bring to a boil. Let the water evaporate and add the dried

fenugreek leaves. Add half a cup of water and let in evaporate again. Thereafter, fry

until all the ingredients turn in golden color.

 

* Add the chicken,yoghurt,red chili powder,turmeric and salt and stir. Cook until the

yoghurt is absorbed; then add 1 1/2 cups water and ghee comes to the surface.
