Cheesy Spaghetti

1 (12 ounce) package thin spaghetti

¼ pound bacon cut in small pieces

1 large onion, chopped

1 pound ground beef

2 cups (2-8 ounce cans)  tomato  sauce

1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheese

½ cup shredded Provolone cheese

Cook spaghetti; drain.  Fry bacon slowly until browned.  Drain off grease.  Add onion and beef; cook until meat is brown; mix in tomato sauce and seasoning.  Simmer 15 minutes.  In large bowl, combine sauce and spaghetti.  Place half of mixture in a buttered 2 quart casserole.  Top with half of the Cheddar and half of the Provolone cheese.  Repeat layers.  Bake in pre-heated 375 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
