Carrot Chutney

Here are the instruction how to make Carrot Chutney:

Grated Carrot                                                                            1 cup

Grated coconut                                                                         1 cup

Tamarind                                                                                 2tsp

Urad dal                                                                                  3 tblsp

Red chillies                                                                               4

Salt  As needed

Oil                                                                                           2 tsp

Mustard                                                                                   3/4 tsp

Curry leaves                                                                             3 sprig

METHOD

Heat a frying pan with little oil and fry  urad dal and red chillies till they are get golden brown.

Fry the grated carrots till raw smell disappears .keep aside(don’t fry a long time). Oil, Mustard Urad dal and Curry leaves  Temper in a serving bowl then Grind all the items together along with tamarind and salt with required amount of water to a smooth chutney .

if you need you can cut curry leaves in to small peace ,and then Mix in the tempered items .
