| Spiced Tea |

430 ml/ ¾ pint water 6 whole cloves 6 green cardamoms, bruised 1 cuinnamon stick, 5 cm/2 inches long, broken up 3 tsps tea leaves or 2 tea bags Milk and sugar to taste Place the water in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Add the spices, cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes. Rinse a teapot with hot water and add the tea leaves or the tea bags. Bring the spiced liquid to the boil again and strain it into the teapot. Brew for 5 minutes and serve with milk and sugar to taste.
